Welcome to North Colchester Healthcare Centre's website

The North Colchester Healthcare Centre is a GP surgery which also incorporates a walk-in service. 

Opening times are 7am - 10pm 365 days of the year.  However, if you wish to attend as a walk-in patient after 8pm, you are advised to telephone the Centre to check that we are still open for registrations. On occasion the service has to stop registration prior to 10pm due to excessive demand.

Services include:

  • Registered GP Surgery
  • A Walk In Service which offers the following:
    • Minor illness
    • Minor Injury e.g. sprains, minor cuts etc
    • Emergency Contraception and Advice
    • Smoking Cessation
  • A Phlebotomy Service Monday-Friday 7am – 2pm

Please note the Centre is unable to offer the following services:

  • Repeat Prescriptions
  • Cardiac Chest Pain
  • X-Ray
  • Suturing
  • Neck Pain following a Road Traffic Accident
